July 7, 2008: Viewsonic has increased its professional LCD line-up with the addition of three new models in the VP 50 Series.
The VP 50 Series claims to deliver the widest tonal range and largest colour gamut, making them ideal for both creative and business professionals. The new models are the 22-inch widescreen VP2250wb, 26-inch widescreen VP2650wb and traditional 4:3 19-inch VP950b. The VP2650wb covers up to 110% of the colour gamut, based on the National Television System Committee (NTSC) guidelines. Each model comes with OptiColor technology for better accuracy and more detailed images in any viewing environment. Each model is equipped with four USB ports and all offer rapid response times and dynamic contrast ratio control.
Details of the three models are as follows:
– The VP950b combines 1280×1024 native resolution, 2ms response time, 280 nits of brightness and a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, to make it one of the most feature-rich traditional LCDs on the market.
– The VP2250wb offers a 1680×1050 native resolution, 2ms response time and 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for clear, crisp images and exceptional colour quality.
– The VP2650wb boasts a 1920×1200 native resolution, 3ms response time and a 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, providing the ability to display true high definition 1080p Full HD content and deliver fluid, full-motion images.
All VP 50 Series monitors come with PerfectSuite Plus software, for easy settings adjustments and colour calibration, as well as asset management and theft deterrence. They are also Windows Vista Certified. Each model in the range has an ultra-slim bezel and offers advanced ergonomic adjustments including a 4.7-inch height adjustment range, a 120 degree swivel, pivot and tilt. With its ThinEdge design and integrated mounting holes, these new models also allow for easy tiling of multiple displays.
