Tickets are now on sale for the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, which runs from 24 August to 20 October at the a number of venues in the city of Ballarat in Victoria.

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale presentations and exhibitions take place at a number of galleries and spaces across Ballarat with the core program centres on the Art Gallery of Ballarat, 40 Lydiard St North. a display of the work of Chinese photographer, Liu Bolin, will open the biennale, show casing his career over almost two decades; from his best-known Hiding in the City series initiated in 2005 until the present day. The exhibition aims to demonstrate how the artist’s strategy of camouflage has allowed him to produce images which resonate globally with viewers across time and place.
