The new addition brings Sigma’s first APS-C size mirrorless dedicated zoom lens to a much wider market and provides a light, bright, and sharp standard ‘workhorse’ zoom to owners of Canon’s EOS R7, R50, R10 and R100 cameras. With a maximum diameter of 69.2 mm, a length of 74.5 mm and weight of 300 grams, this lens is the smallest and lightest in its class. It offers a versatile full-frame equivalent zoom range of 28.8mm to 80mm plus a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture and of a minimum focusing distance of 12.1 cm and a maximum magnification of 1:2.8.
The new lens has not been listed on Sigma’s Australian website as yet but is expected to sell for an RRP of AU$849. Click here for more information.
