Canon has announced the release of the PIXMA G4670 and PIXMA G3670 MegaTank
A4 printers with user-refillable ink tanks.

The new PIXMA printers are designed for home use and feature fast print speeds with high page yields. The four refillable ink tanks have been designed for trouble-free filling and replenishment. Each ink bottle (GI-61C, GI-61M, GI-61Y and GI-61BK) has a distinctive nozzle that ensures it can only refill the right coloured tank, eliminating the risk of making a mistake. Both models are capable of printing up to 6,000 pages in black, and up to 7,700 pages in colour from the supplied set of inks. Yields can be increased by switching to the Economy printing mode. User-replaceable maintenance cartridges minimise the need for servicing after a long print run.

Easy to setup and use, both models support printing, copying and scanning, the latter with an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi. They can be used to print on magnetic, matte and photo media. Both models can print Cloud Link to get underway. Printing, scanning, copying and connecting to the cloud is also straightforward: simply connect to the Canon PRINT app or PIXMA Cloud Link to get underway. You can also print wirelessly directly from mobile devices such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop via AirPrint(iOS) or Mopria(Android).

The G4670 includes a 35-sheet Auto Document Feeder, while the G3670 is available in white as an alternative to the standard black. Both models will be available in Australia from March, with the G4670 priced at AU$599 (RRP) and the G3670 at AU$449. Click here for details of the G4670 and here for the G3670.
