October 15, 2009: The Lomographic Society has released a new half-frame plastic camera, the Diana Mini.
Smaller and lighter than the popular Diana F+, the Diana Mini offers some new features for enthusiasts. The ability to fit 72 shots onto one roll of 35mm film is now again available again, and you can switch film formats from without changing the film is in your hands allowing you choose between 3:2 and 1:1 aspect ratios. Users can also set the camera to take multiple and long time exposures and the camera can provide overlapping images. A cable release socket is also provided.

The Diana Mini weighs only 235 grams and measures 70 x 101 x 60 mm. It uses 35mm film stock. The 24mm lens will focus to 60 cm plus two aperture settings (f/8 and f/11) and two shutter speeds (1/60 second and Bulb).
