November 9, 2005: Fujifilm’s latest ultra-slim digicam, the FinePix F460 is packed with features to appeal to snapshooters.
As well as a 5.1-megapixel CCD sensor and 3x optical zoom lens, the F460 sports a large 2.5-inch LCD monitor plus 13 MB of internal memory. The camera’s stylish metallic body is less than 20 mm thick, with grip that fits well in the user’s hand. A mode dial accesses three shooting modes: Auto, SP (Scene Position) and Movie, the latter offering VGA resolution at 30 frames per second with sound, and live video playback on the LCD monitor. The Scene Position mode has 10 settings covering popular shooting situations like Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Beach & Snow, Sunset, Museum, Party, Flower Close-Up and Text. A manual mode gives users more flexibility to control the image quality.
The camera is supplied with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery and battery charger, hand strap, USB cable, A/V cable, CD-Rom with FinePix Viewer and ImageMixer VCD2 LE for FinePix. It is expected to retail for $399 including GST. Full product specifications and links to stockists can be found at www.fujifilm.com.au.
