Four New Lowepro Camera Straps

July 5, 2006: Local distributor, Maxwell Optical Industries, has added four new Lowepro camera straps to its line-up, with models to suit both professional and enthusiast photographers.
The new straps are designed with the same attention to detail and durability as Lowepro’s camera bags, with models suited to adventure, sports, journalism and studio photography. All four straps include two side release buckles for quick interchangeability between cameras plus double ladder-locks to ensure camera security. The Voyager and Transporter straps also feature a detachable memory card wallet for quick access to cards at any time.
The Voyager straps are of special interest to adventure photographers and made from soft, breathable neoprene material reinforced with nylon webbing. Two versions are available: the Voyager S (for straight), which sells for $55, is for photographers who prefer to sling the camera across their chest and the Voyager C (for contoured) at $49, is for photographers who prefer carrying their camera around their neck. Both models are ideal for extended use with heavier camera equipment.
The Transporter (RRP $29) was created for use with multiple cameras, binoculars and other photography equipment. Its non-slip padding is designed to stay in place while the strap may be adjusted to a variety of lengths or swung out of the way while using another device.

The Speedster (RRP $25) was designed for active photographers and photojournalists and is the lightest Lowepro strap to date. Simple yet highly functional, it folds efficiently into camera bags and easily adjusts in length to accommodate a wide variety of camera bodies and equipment. Anti-slip rubber thread woven into soft nylon webbing protects clothing and keeps the Speedster from slipping.
