May 30, 2007: Visitors to the Daylesford International Foto Biennale, which opens on Sunday 3 June, can be photographed in fantasy ‘costumes’ created by noted photographer, Murray McKeich.
McKeich has creates canvas panels reminiscent of Victorian style scenic backdrops or a paper doll’s 2D clothes with holes for people’s faces. The images on the canvas are constructed using digital media and generative techniques. However, they originate the collection of rubbish, ephemera and objects from the exhibition site’s immediate environs. They will be on display at the Clunes Town Hall in Bailey Street, Clunes until 1 July. For more information visit www.daylesfordfotobiennale.org.
