Epson Launches Traditional Photo Paper

April 2, 2008: Epson has released a new Traditional Photo Paper range, which was developed in collaboration with leading professional photographers.
Designed exclusively for use with Epson’s UltraChrome ink, the new paper has a fibre ‘photo paper’ base that is acid and lignin free and has been produced with elemental-chlorine-free bleaching and minimal optical brighteners. It has a substantial 330 gsm weight and micro-porous smooth gloss (F-Type) surface with a texture that simulates the texture of a black-and-white silver gelatin print. The new paper features a high D-Max (2.5) and a wide dynamic range coupled with high colour saturation that brings depth to printed images. Gloss differential is extremely low.
