Capable of 300 x 300 dpi output resolution, the CP910 can produce snapshot-sized (6×4 inch) prints in as little as 47 seconds via a dye-sublimation printing process that includes a protective coating that shields photos from moisture and dirt and prevents colours from smudging and fading. An optional battery and charger makes it as portable as your smart phone. The Image Optimise feature automatically detects faces and adjusts brightness, tone and contrast and users can fine-tune pictures on the printer’s LCD screen.
As well as supporting Wi-Fi printing from Apple, Android, Windows RT devices, the CP910 supports direct printing from digital cameras and includes an SD card slot that accepts all popular SD card types. The optional square sticker paper (KC-18IS) is ideal for printing from Instagram. A USB mini-B type port on the printer enables prints to be made from a computer.
The Selphy CP10 will be available in retail stores across Australia. Prices will be set at the dealers’ discretion, with a typical retail price at AU$119 and a 36-pack of paper selling for AU$23-$25.
