Some Gum Nuts from the Macracarpa tree that I see at Yarrawoinga

A Rainbow Bee-eater that succumbed to some sort of trauma. Its plumage is a reminder of nature’s mastery of colour and texture.

Sacred Lotus flowers have seed pods that remind me of shower heads. Painted with light from a handheld Maglite.

Ballon Cotton Ball is a local weed. The seed head really wants to hitch a ride with all those spiky hairs. Used the new software in the E-M1 to focus bracket eight frames and Photoshop to stack them.
