July 29, 2008: Shortcut Software has announced an upgrade to Silkypix Developer Studio, an independent raw file conversion application with editing facilities.
Version 3.0.22.2, which is free to current users, adds support for the Ricoh GX200, Canon EOS 1000D and Fujifilm FinePix S100fs cameras bringing the total number of cameras supported up to more than 150. New features in Version 3 include an improved development engine that improves output image quality, particularly in highlights, adjustments to the nonlinear processing components of output gamma and tone curve levels and changes to parameter controls that improve adjustments for sharpness, noise s, highlight recovery and colour space.
