December 5, 2006: To celebrate the first anniversary of the Ricoh GR Digital, Ricoh has released a limited edition model featuring illustrations by Hellboy comic designer, Katsuya Terada.
Katsuya Terada is probably best known as the character-designer for the animated film Blood: The Last Vampire. As well as Hellboy, he has also worked on American comic Iron Man. The special edition camera is illustrated with pictures showing blue sky and clouds as the base colour for the camera with figures of angels beside the lens and on top of the camera body.

The launch also commemorates the 10th anniversary of Ricoh’s popular GR series film camera. Only 1,000 units of the anniversary model will be distributed worldwide, at a local RRP of $1,299. It will only be available from authorised GR Digital stockists. For details, phone 1300 363 741 or visit www.ricoh.com.au.
