The popular Zeiss Otus ML 50mm f/1.4 lens has just been released for the Nikon Z-Mount, completing the Otus ML line-up for mirrorless camera systems.
With the launch of the Z-Mount version, the Otus ML 1.4/50 lens can now be used with Sony E-Mount, Canon RF-Mount and Nikon Z-Mount cameras. (Source: Zeiss.)
The Otus ML 1.4/50 is ideal for capturing portraits, street scenes or cinematic moments and features precisely engineered focusing that enables accurate focus settings with manual focusing. Its optical design contains 14 elements in 11 groups and includes two elements with aspheric optical surfaces and four elements made of special glass with anomalous partial dispersion. Each lens is approximately 100 mm long with a diameter of 77 mm and a weight between 677 grams (E-mount) 718 grams (Z-mount).
