Priced at AU$1049 (RRP), the ZV-1F provides easy-to-use vlogging functions, advanced connectivity and eco-friendly features in a pocketable form factor. It features a fixed, ultra wide-angle 20 mm equivalent f/2.0 prime lens, high precision focusing with Eye AF for both humans and animals, Active Mode (electronic) image stabilisation when shooting video and a Vari-Angle LCD touch screen with Touch Zoom and Step Zoom  functionality. Users will be able to record video clips at 4K 30p or high-frame-rate FHD 120p for slow-motion playback. A three-capsule microphone and wind screen ensure clear voice recordings. Sony’s new smartphone app, Imaging Edge Mobile Plus, makes it easy for users to connect to the camera via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and transfer images and video.

The ZV-1F also includes a number of useful internal processing functions, such as background bokeh and face priority AE controls for both stills and video recording, 10 Creative Look presets, skin tone optimisation (including Soft Skin Effect) and a Product Showcase Setting for product reviews. Weighing approximately 229 grams, it is compact and lightweight enough for everyday use and can be carried everywhere. The ZV-1F can also function as a high-performance web camera when connected to a computer or smartphone via USB.

The ZV-1F was designed with environmentally friendly features and technology to ensure a sustainable future, including extensive use of recycled materials in both the camera body and bundled accessories. Plant-based non-woven fabrics are used for product bags to reduce plastic packaging. It will be available in Australia from early November 2022. Click here for product details.
