Otherwise, the new model retains most of the key features of the standard Q3, including the 60-megapixel full-frame BSI CMOS sensor,  Maestro IV processor and  5,760,000-dot OLED EVF with 0.79x magnification plus the ability to record 8K 30p video with H.265 compression in UHD or DCI ratios. The 43mm focal length closely mimics human vision and captures a natural perspective, making the new camera ideal for portraits, as well as street, travel and event photography. Frame cropping, aided by Triple Resolution Technology, enables users to shoot at 60, 36 or 18 megapixel resolutions and record with 60mm, 75mm, 90mm, 120mm or 150mm equivalent focal lengths. Other features include the following:

  • 3-inch tilting touchscreen LCD monitor with 1.8 million dots
  • Native ISO range of 100-100,000 (with extension to ISO 50 available)
  • Hybrid PDAF + contrast AF with DFD autofocus
