The TG-310 can also shoot movies in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, is compatible with Eye-Fi SD cards (which adds Wi-Fi capability to the camera), has eight Magic Filters (Punk, Watercolour, Sparkle, Pop, Pin Hole, Fish Eye, Drawing and Soft Focus) and a 3D Photo Shooting Function so that you can view your photos in 3D on a compatible TV or computer. It will be available in silver, blue, red and orange.
The VG-140 is a super slim compact digital camera with a 5 x optical zoom lens from a wide angle of 26mm, a 3 inch High Resolution screen, 14 megapixel CCD image sensor and can take 1280 x 720 pixels High-definition movies (AVI Motion JPEG). The VR-310 is for those situations where you want a small camera with a powerful zoom. It features the same 3 inch High Resolution LCD screen, 14 megapixels CCD image sensor, AVI Motion JPEG movies capabilities and seven Magic Filters as the VG-140, but a 10x optical zoom from a wide angle of 24mm and DUAL IS that reduces picture blur. Its Face Detection AF can identify up to 12 faces within the frame and automatically focuses and optimises exposure to capture sharp portraits and group shots. It will be available in silver, black and purple.
All three cameras will be available in Australia in late February 2011. For more information, please visit www.olympus.com.au.
