Overnight, Nikon has announced at Photokina the addition of two new models to its KeyMission action and wearable camera series.

The new models join the existing KeyMission 360 model, which remains the flagship product in the line-up. The KeyMission 170 supports 4K UHD/30p recording of 170 ° ultra wide-angle movies and comes with an electric VR function. It is waterproof to 10 metres, shockproof to 2.0 metres, cold-proof to −10 ° C and dustproof. An optional WP-AA1 Waterproof Case allows the camera to be used at depths of 40 metres. The camera supports a variety of shooting modes, including Add Slow Motion, Movie + Photo, Superlapse Movie, Loop Recording and Time-lapse Movie The camera is compatible with the SnapBridge 360/170 app (for smartphones and tablets) and the KeyMission 360/170 Utility (for computers).
The KeyMission 80 covers an angle of view of 80 ° with a rear facing 25mm f/2 lens behind a 12mp 1/2.3-inch type sensor. It also has a front-facing 5mp 1/5-inch type sensor with a 22mm f/2.2 lens. It is waterproof to 1 metre, shockproof to 1.5 metre, cold-proof to −10 ° C and dustproof and includes support for the SnapBridge app, which enables connection to a smartphone or tablet. Shooting modes include Time-lapse Movie and Route Shooting for capturing a journey with photos or movies.
