Olympus has issued firmware updates for its E-5 and E-PL2 interchangeable-lens cameras and updated the firmware for its new XZ-1 digicam.

 

March 4, 2011: Olympus has issued firmware updates for its E-5 and E-PL2 interchangeable-lens cameras and updated the firmware for its new XZ-1 digicam.

The new version of the E-5 firmware resolves minor issues relating to the LCD display, while the E-PL2 firmware fixes bugs associated with use of external flash units.

Firmware Version 1.1 for the XZ-1 resolves an issue that occurred when the POWER button of the dedicated flash units was operated. All three updates are available at http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/software/.
