Combining a wide 17mm focal length with Laowa’s Zero-D technology, this lens delivers distortion-free images and provides +/-10° of tilt and +/-12 mm of shift for the Tilt-Shift model or +/-11 mm for the Shift model (8 mm on medium format cameras), giving photographers a choice for architectural, landscape and real estate jobs. It also offers an impressive 25 cm minimum focusing distance, which could suit studio photographers who take product shots. Users can also use the lens for shooting ultra-wide panoramas by shifting the lens across the horizon, confident of obtaining a flawless digital stitch.

The lens features an integrated 86mm filter thread, allowing the use of standard screw-on filters and the tilt-shift mechanism offers 360° rotation with 15° click stops, allowing high precision. Stability is guaranteed with an integrated Arca-Swiss compatible lens support. Laowa’s proprietary Frog-Eye Coating (FEC) protects the front element from water and dust, allowing it to be used in challenging conditions. The new lens is compatible with a wide range of full-frame mirrorless and GFX/XCD medium format systems, including Canon RF, Fujifilm GFX, L-mount, Nikon Z, Sony E and Hasselblad XCD.
