ACDSee’s just-released video editing software, LUXEA Pro Video Editor 8, provides new AI-driven tools and major workflow upgrades to help creators do more in less time.

Designed for content creators and equipped for editing travel vlogs, tutorials, video games or promotional videos, LUXEA Pro 8, introduces two new advanced AI features: AI Super-Resolution for upscaling footage to 4K resolution and AI Motion Tracking for automatically locking effects and graphics onto moving subjects without the need for keyframes. It also adds six upgrades to workflow tools to streamline even complex projects. Nest Sequences and Presets allow users to consolidate multiple edits into reusable, modular sequences. A new Dynamic Preview mode displays instant preview clips when the user hovers over the timeline. No scrubbing is required. The Quick Split Mode provides one-click clip splitting for effortless edits, while Adjustment Layers allow users to apply effects across multiple clips without altering the original footage.
Improved Timeline Controls let users mute, enable, or swap clips quickly and stay organised with the new Marker Panel. Audio Enhancements include controls to auto-normalise soundtrack audio volume, as well as support for multi-audio track videos and new muting tools. The latest version of LUXEA Pro provides a full production workflow covering record, edit, and share from one platform as well as support for HDR-to-SDR conversion, AV1 codec, and MKV format to ensure compatibility with the latest platforms and devices. In addition, 25 new Filters and 14 new Transition effects are available to provide creative polish, while Enhanced Text Tools now include gradients, batch editing, and animations and Workspace Presets come with an improved Colour Picker to streamline the user’s setup. Direct export to YouTube is also available.
