Don first picked up a camera nearly 40 years ago and has been a keen photographer ever since. After completing a degree in English, he migrated to Australia from his native California in the mid 1980s. Since then Don has edited a variety of photographic, trade and consumer titles, and he is the founder of Australia's most popular surfing website www.realsurf.com.

Margaret has been writing about photography for more than 20 years and taking and printing photos since the age of nine. She has edited several trade magazines in the photo industry and written for a number of business publications.
