Details of a new Sony E-mount camera have been published on Sony’s Australia website in what appears to be an otherwise unheralded ‘world first’ announcement.

The new camera is almost identical to the a3000 (which we reviewed in December 2013 /reviews/advanced-compact-cameras/interchangeable-lens/sony-ilce-3000 ). It features a 20.1MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, Tru-Finder Electronic Viewfinder, Full HD video recording, Auto Object Framing and Picture Effect settings.
