The new Viltrox AF 50mm f/1.4 Pro lens is now available in Sony FE and Nikon Z mounts and promises pro-grade resolution, fast autofocus, comprehensive control buttons and reliable weather-sealing.

The classical 50mm focal length delivers high-resolution images with minimal distortion and a natural lifelike perspective, while the fast, f/1.4 maximum aperture facilitates shooting in low light levels and produces attractive bokeh. The optical design of the lens contains 15 elements in 11 groups and includes three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements and one UA (ultra-precision aspherical) element. Viltrox’s patented Dual HyperVCM system shifts into focus quickly and noiselessly, working together with the camera’s face and eye detection when required. For video, minimal focus breathing enables natural, professional-looking focus transitions.
