Weighing only 350 grams and just 106.5 mm long, it is ideal for travellers and makes a good walk-around lens for everyday photographers and vloggers. Its optical design consists of 12 elements in 10 groups and includes one ED glass and two aspherical elements. Minimum apertures range from f/22 to f/40 and the lens can focus to within 20 cm of subjects from 24mm to 50mm or 28 cm at 105mm. A seven-bladed iris diaphragm creates a rounded aperture for attractive bokeh. The lens features weather-resistant sealing but relies on in-camera IS for stabilisation.
This lens is supplied with front and end caps but the HB-93B lens hood is an optional extra. The Nikkor Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens is available to pre-order now at an RRP of AU$899. Click here for full details.
