Skylum has added nine AI-powered tools to the latest update of its Luminar Neo editing software with a promise of three more in the near future.

This screen grab shows the SkyAI tool, which replaces the sky automatically, in use.

The new tools include Accent AI, SkyAI, SkinAI, Sky EnhancerAI, StructureAI (adjusts detail and clarity), BodyAI, AtmosphereAI (adds weather effects based on image depth reconstruction), Portrait BokehAI, and Supercontrast, with upcoming additions of RelightAI (virtual 3D light source emulation), Line RemovalAI (removes power lines from skies) and MaskAI. Designed to provide one-click enhancements with additional fine-tuning available to users, many of the new additions are industry-leading. They have also been developed with input from professional photographers to ensure they meet end-users’ needs.

Skylum has also released versions of Luminar for use on mobile devices, with both iOS and Android apps currently available. Click here to visit the Luminar website for details of the desktop and mobile applications and purchasing plan options.
