A wet day at Mt Remarkable NP in South Australia. The flat light and rain intensified the colouring of the bark on these trees.
Two small gum leaves had fallen onto the massive trunk of a River Red Gum in a Brachina Gorge campground. I think we hit and went below the dew point that night.
I just couldn’t resist not taking a photo of this stunning view down at St Kilda beach. This beautiful ship docked under a bed of marshmallow-like clouds.

A little history about me & this location… I’ve attempted this shot at least 10 times and have failed every time. But after multiple attempts, lots of research and some good weather, I finally did it.
People travel far to find a piece of tranquillity and peacefulness. I live in it. This is the view from just outside my front door. Each morning the colours are different. Each morning the fog over the river takes a mystical beauty all of its own. Each part of the day the mountains in the distance play hide and seek and vary their colours. Peace.
