Canon’s latest PIXMA multi-function printers have been designed for easy integration with smartphones and borderless photo printing in sizes from compact 5×5 inch social squares to A4.

At just 374 mm wide, the three models seamlessly fit into small desk spaces and come with longer print heads and a boosted print engine that support fast speeds and an efficient First Print Out Time (FPOT). The enhanced print head features more nozzles than the previous models for greater coverage and precision and these printers claim print speeds of up to 14.0 images per minute (ipm) for monochrome and 9.0 ipm for colour, paired with a quick FPOT of approximately 7.5 seconds for monochrome and 9.5 seconds for colour. A new pigment black ink ensures text definition, while optimised droplet placement enhances overall print accuracy and clarity. For homes and businesses requiring precision, a dedicated barcode printing mode enables high-quality barcode and QR code printing, ideal for labels, inventory, and logistics applications.
Users can enjoy borderless photo printing in sizes from compact 5 x 5-inch social squares to A4, and produce a glossy 4 x 6-inch borderless print in around 39 seconds using the advanced dye-based photo printing system. They also support dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) as well as Apple AirPrint and Mopria for Android, enabling quick, driver-free printing. With the Canon PRINT app’s built-in cloud connectivity, users can print from and scan directly to services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. Direct connect with QR code from screen (TR7160 and TS5560 only) makes ad-hoc printing fast and easy.
All three printers are scheduled to be available in Australia from April under the following conditions:
TR7160: $139.00 RRP (Officeworks exclusive)
TS5560: $99.00 RRP (Officeworks exclusive)
