Retouch4me has updated its Arams retouching app with the addition of an intelligent photo culling function that uses AI to automatically analyse, select, retouch and directly export images.

The new Retouch4me Arams 1.6.0 update uses neural networks to automatically identify and flag photos with closed eyes, awkward expressions, motion blur and other common technical flaws. It is best suited for wedding, portrait, event, family, maternity and commercial photographers who work with large volumes of images, frequently use batch processing, and need to deliver results to clients as quickly as possible. The GUI provides a two-tab workflow, as shown in the screen grab above. In the CULL tab, AI trained on hundreds of thousands of professional images flags potential issues while photographers maintain full creative control — the system never automatically deletes images. In the EDIT tab, photographers can work with Retouch4me plugins either offline locally or via cloud processing with a credit-based system (pay per retouch). This cuts typical culling time by up to 80% and eliminates the need to switch between multiple programs.
Retouch4me is available for one-time purchase or as monthly subscriptions. With Starter packs priced from US$20 and subscriptions starting at US$29 per month. Users accumulate credits the more work they do with the application. A free trial download is also available. Click here for full details.
