The new Viltrox AF 56mm f/1.2 Pro lens features an optical design containing 13 elements in 8 groups and including an ultra-large precision aspherical lens that combines with an ED (extra-low dispersion) lens to minimise axial chromatic aberration, delivering crisp, colour-fringe-free images. Three HR (High-refractive) elements strike a balance between portability and optical excellence for compact APS-C camera systems. Viltrox’s patented HyperVCM motor provides faster and more precise focusing, while reducing vibration for smooth, silent performance and minimal focus breathing. The lens features a high-strength forged aluminium alloy body with a matte black finish and protective coatings that resist scratches and wea. Rubber seals keep out dust, splashes, and moisture, ensuring reliable performance, even in challenging outdoor environments.

The new lens is available to pre-order now from the Viltrox online store or through Amazon at an MSRP of US$580. Click here for more information.
