The latest release from TTArtisan is a compact, lightweight 40mm f/2 AF prime lens for full-frame cameras, which is offered in Sony E and Nikon Z mounts.

Ideal for street, travel and documentary photography as well as everyday snapshooting, the new lens weighs between 167 and 176 grams, depending on the mount. Made primarily from 5052 Aviation Aluminium, it features a clicked aperture ring, 40 cm minimum focusing distance and fast and quiet autofocusing, driven by a compact stepping motor. Its optical design contains nine elements in six groups and includes two elements with high refractive indices, one aspherical element and one extra-low dispersion element. The rear cap (supplied) contains a USB-C interface to make it easy for users to update firmware.
