Entries for the annual BirdLife Australia Photography Awards will close at 8AM AEST, Tuesday 12 August.

The organisers of this popular Australian photo competition have extended the Head On Photo Awards deadline so entries will now close at 11:59 on Sunday, 3 August (Sydney time).

Fifty outstanding works have been selected as finalists for the 2025 William & Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, one of Australia’s highest regarded photography prizes.
