Fujifilm FinePix S7000
Fujifilm’s FinePix S7000 boasts a 4th generation Super CCD HR (high resolution) sensor, which has 6.63 million photosites but uses interpolation to deliver images with 12.3 million pixels. Images are stored on Type II CompactFlash cards but, with no FAT 32 support, you can’t use the highest-capacity CF cards and Microdrives. The S7000 has an excellent electronic viewfinder and 1.8-inch LCD monitor. The pop-up flash is adjustable through five exposure values (+0.6 to -0.6 EV). Shutter speeds range from 15-1/10,000 sec in manual mode and 3-1/1000 sec in most other modes. Centre-weighted, area and multi AF are supported, and the camera can focus to 1cm in super macro mode. Power is supplied by four AA batteries. Video recordings can be made with VGA resolution at 30fps.
