World Press Photo is releasing the fourth edition of its Next book series featuring the photo essays made by the 12 participants of last year’s Joop Swart Masterclass.

Next #04 contains 160 pages and more than 110 images covering subjects as diverse as a visual diary of a young woman exploring her sexuality, a dynamic visit to a North Dakota boom town and a behind-the-scenes look at the Bangladeshi film industry.

The book includes an introduction by the American photographer Maggie Steber, who looks back at her own experience as a master at the event.

The English edition will be distributed by Ingram Publishing Services (North America) and Thames and Hudson (rest of the world), a German edition is co-published by Till Schaap Edition.

The book will also available online in the World Press Photo store  as of 14 November.
