An exhibition of winning images from the 2014 World Press Photo competition goes on display at the State Library of New South Wales between 24 May and 22 June, 2014.
The official opening takes place on Friday, 23 May at 6:00 pm by Dr Alex Byrne, NSW State Librarian; Gary Linnell of Fairfax Newspapers’ SMH & Sun Herald; Alan Brightman, Manager of Professional Imaging, Canon Australia and Micha Bruinvels, Manager of Contests, World Press Photo. When the display opens on the following day it can be viewed between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on weekdays, with a late opening until 8:00 pm on Tuesdays. Weekend hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
