April 17, 2008: Vivitar has launched a new series of digital photo frames that support still images, thumbnail display, video and MP3 music and also include a calendar and clock with alarm displays.
The new digital photo frames will be available in a stylish dark wood finish with white internal mat. Buyers can choose from two screen sizes: 8-inch (RRP $299) and 15-inch (RRP $499). Each frame has an internal memory (128MB to 256MB) plus support for a wide range of external memory including SD, MMC, CF-I/II, MS, MS DUO, XD, and USB flash memory. All frames are supplied with remote controls for easy setup and displaying of images.
