Photographers are invited to ‘unleash their creativity’ at The Digital Playground, a celebration of photography that takes place at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay between 31 May and 2 June.

The weekend will be packed with exciting exhibits, talks, workshops and pop-up events that will appeal to photographers of all ages and at all levels of expertise. All exhibits and expositions will be free and open to the public, although some talks and lectures will require a nominal registration fee. Nikon will present live product demonstrations throughout the event and host free  Nikon  School Workshops (prior registration required). Canon is hosting its first LIVE photography challenge, Photo5 Live, an interactive challenge based on the popular annual photography competition. Prizes include a Canon EOS 6D Premium Kit and a PIXMA PRO-10 printer. Specialist photo book producer, Momento, will run demonstrations on how to turn photos in to stylish, personalised coffee-table books, cards, calendars or diaries.    Ted’s Cameras will be open in the cargo hold of The Overseas Passenger Terminal day and night to provide essential photography supplies to photographers on the  go. Other participants include Creative Photo Workshops, Epson, Leica, LensBaby, Lexar, Lowepro, Nova and Tamron.
