TIPA Awards Announced

June 30, 2005: The 2005 European Photo & Imaging Awards from the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) were announced at a recent ceremony in Cologne, Germany.
The awards, which are the photo industry’s equivalent to the “Oscars”, are determined each year by a panel of technical editors from Europe’s leading photo magazines. They cover products released in Europe during the 12 months to 1 May of the year in question. TIPA judges take into account innovation, the use of leading-edge technology, design and ergonomics of the products and their ease of use and price/performance ratio. This year’s winners are:
