Fujifilm Australia has introduced three new J-series digicams with user-friendly features plus the ability to produce high quality images.

 

September 25, 2008: Fujifilm Australia has introduced three new J-series digicams with user-friendly features plus the ability to produce high quality images.
Designed for family snapshooters, the FinePix J100, FinePix J120 and FinePix J150 each have a 10-megapixel CCD image sensor and Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens. All three models support sensitivity settings up to ISO 1600 and include software-based Face Detection with automatic red-eye removal; Picture Stabilisation; continuous shooting; 12 different shooting programs; movie recording at 30fps with sound and an internal memory of 24MB. The key differences between the FinePix J100, FinePix J120 and FinePix J150 are the lens focal length and LCD screen size.

The FinePix J150 (RRP $299) offers a 28mm focal length (35mm equivalent) at its widest and a telephoto range up to 140mm (35mm equivalent) making it ideal for family groups, building shots or interior shooting. FinePix J100 (RRP $269) and FinePix J120 (RRP $279) have zoom lenses that range from 35mm to 175mm. All three models come with amorphous silicon TFT LCDs with 230,000-dot resolution. The FinePix J100 has a 2.7-inch LCD screen, while the FinePix J120 and FinePix J150 offer a 3.0-inch LCD screen.
All three models are encased in a high grade brushed aluminium metal shell that is only 22.6mm wide. Each model is supplied with a rechargeable NP-45 lithium-ion battery and BC-45A charger and accessories that include a Hand Strap; USB and A/V cables and a software CD that includes FinePixViewer and an Owner’s manual.
