The new VPL-VZ1000ES native 4K HDR Ultra Short Throw home theatre projector, launched today by Sony, is designed to integrate easily into homes and offices.

Measuring approximately 925 x 494 x 219 mm and weighing roughly 35 kg, it is small and light enough to be used in both domestic and professional environments. It is roughly 40% smaller than the currently available Sony VPL-GTZ1 4K ultra short throw projector but can generate 2,500 lumens of colour light output, 25% brighter than the VPL-GTZ1. It is the ideal projector for large display sizes in small spaces, as well as locations with high ceilings. And since the projector is mounted in front rather than behind the viewers, there are no issues with shadows or obstructions from ceiling lights or fans.
