The new camera also comes with Sony’s iSweep Panorama mode, which has been enhanced with the addition of face and motion detection to intelligently adjust panorama stitching to cope with subject movements. It also offers continuous shooting at 10 frames/second at full 10.2-megapixel resolution. The back-illuminated sensor doubles the sensor’s sensitivity, improving low-light performance. A new Backlight Correction HDR mode can counteract high subject contrast by taking two pictures at different settings and processing the best elements of both into a single image.
