The latest addition to Sony’s NEX camera line-up, the NEX-5R, features built-in Wi-Fi to enable easy transfer of photos to smart-phones and tablet PCs plus a new Hybrid AF system.

The Hybrid AF includes phase-detection and enables the camera to offer DSLR-like AF tracking for shooting at up to 10 fps. The 16-megapixel APS-C sensor in the new camera is a new chip with improved high-ISO performance. The new camera comes with support for new PlayMemories Camera Apps to expand Wi-Fi functionality.
