Sony has released five SD/SDHC memory cards and two microSD/microSDHC cards and confirmed that its entire 2010 range of digital imaging products will SD/SDHC compatible.

 

April 9, 2010: Sony has released five SD/SDHC memory cards and two microSD/microSDHC cards and confirmed that its entire 2010 range of digital imaging products will SD/SDHC compatible.
The new cards offer class 4 data transfer speeds and are fast enough to support high definition video recording and the advanced functions of compact digital cameras and high-end camera phones. Sony’s SD cards also feature File Rescue software, available as a simple, free download, which enables quick retrieval of photos, videos or music that have been damaged or deleted by mistake. A new x-Pict Story application, also available as a free download, allows users to combine music with pictures and features a sharing function for posting slideshows to YouTube, or alternate video sharing services.
The new SDHC cards are available now in capacities ranging from 2GB to 32GB, with prices from $19.95 to $219.95. Sony’s new microSDHC cards are prices at $29.95 for 4GB and $49.95 for 8GB. Both cards come with SD/SDHC adapters. For more information and stockist details, visit www.sony.com.au.
