Entries have opened for the annual Teenagers’ International Photographic Prize competition run by the Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest.
This year’s competition has the theme: Transformation/Metamorphosis. Entrants will be competing for a $1400 prize pool. The competition is being run in two age categories: Junior (13-15 years) and Senior (16-18 years). Competitors may submit only one entry, which must be uploaded to the SNAPSHOT website at http://penrithregionalgallery.org/ by the closing date of 14 August 2013. Entry is free of charge.
Three hundred images selected from the entries will be displayed in the SNAPSHOT 2013 exhibition, which will be shown at the gallery between 21 September and 10 November. Prize winners will be announced at a ceremony on Saturday 9 November between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. For more information email gallery@penrithcity.nsw.gov.au.
