Sigma has released new lens firmware to resolve issues when three popular lenses are used with the Nikon D500 camera.

The three lenses concerned are the 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM C013 (V. 1.03),  18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM C014 (V. 1.01) and  35mm f/1.4 DG HSM A012 (V.1.03).  The new firmware is designed to resolve a problem that could cause underexposure with the Nikon D500. To obtain it you need Version 1.3.0 of SIGMA Optimisation Pro, which enables you to connect lenses from the Sigma Global Vision product lines to your computer via SIGMA USB Dock. It is available for downloading from http://www.sigmaphoto.com/service-support/product-software-and-firmware-download.
