Kayell has arranged a series of half-day workshops on Fine Art inkjet printing in Sydney and Melbourne next month.
Conducted by Dr Les Walkling, master digital print maker, these workshops cover printing images with the latest Epson Pro Printers and inks, state-of-the-art printer profiles, and on the finest papers. Editing and soft proofing will be carried out on Eizo ColorEdge monitors and participants will leave with finished prints of their own images. Each participant will share a Macintosh connected to a Eizo ColorEdge Monitor with a Epson Surecolor P800 A2 Desktop Printer. Participants will be supplied with a choice of six different A4 Canson inkjet papers. Each participant must bring a USB thumb-drive with several images ( 15-20) ready to print ( in JPG, TIFF or PSD format). Each workshop is limited to 20 participants. The course fee is AU$110. Morning and afternoon sessions will be held in Sydney on 18 February in Chats Room at The Ranch, corner of Epping & Herring Roads North Ryde, 2112 NSW and in Melbourne on 25 February at Blue Tree Studios, 2/126 Bertie St, Port Melbourne 3207 Victoria.
