Sony ‘s CES releases include seven new Cyber-shot digicams featuring improved stabilisation, enhanced automatic shooting modes and built-in Wi-Fi for easy image sharing and backups.

The new Cyber-shot WX200, WX80 and WX60 models come with Sony’s Exmor R CMOS sensors plus an improved Optical SteadyShot system for smoother more stable results at all zoom settings. A new Superior Auto mode recognises an even wider range of shooting situations, including tricky low-light scenes. Everything is adjusted automatically for best results in daylight or dusk, with improved motion detection for better, blur-free images when your subject is moving. The WX200 and WX80 also come with built-in Wi-Fi.

The rugged new Cyber-shot TF1 is waterproof to 10 metres and shock-resistant to easy, fumble-free controls. This camera automatically adjusts LCD brightness for a clear view of shots, whether you’re inside or outdoors.

With its powerful 26x optical zoom range, the Cyber-shot H200 offers DSLR-like styling that takes its cues from Sony’s ‘Alpha’ interchangeable-lens camera range. The light, compact Cyber-shot W730 makes point-and-shoot photography simple, while the W710 adds large, fuss-free buttons to reassure photo novices.
