The Australian Centre for Photography will present three one day photography workshops especially for Seniors during Seniors Week between 18 and 22 March.

The courses, which are held on the premises on Oxford Street, Paddington, cover Point and Shoot, Camera Basics and Family Portraiture and provide three hours of focused tuition.  The Point and Shoot workshop costs $45 and shows participants how to get the best out of their compact cameras. Camera Basics concentrates on using DSLR cameras and covers basic technical aspects associated with using controls like shutter speed, aperture, ISO and the lens to produce better photographs.  This course costs $65. The Family Portraiture workshop, also priced at $65, helps participants to understand composition and subject control.  It will also look at creative uses of lenses and natural vs studio lighting.
