SanDisk has filed three patent-infringement actions in the US District Court in Wisconsin, alleging patent infringements against 25 companies that manufacture, sell and import memory cards, USB flash drives and other removable flash storage products.

October 26, 2007: SanDisk has filed three patent-infringement actions in the US District Court in Wisconsin, alleging patent infringements against 25 companies that manufacture, sell and import memory cards, USB flash drives and other removable flash storage products.

The actions allege the defendants have infringed various SanDisk system-level patents, and seek damages and a permanent injunction in the federal court actions, as well as a permanent exclusion order from the ITC banning importation of the products into the United States. No date for hearing the action has been released.
