The high-speed, high-security cards can deliver a sustained minimum write speed of 9MB per second and sustained minimum read speed of 10MB/seconds. They also come with a lifetime warranty and RescuePro data recovery software (which lets users recover files that were lost or deleted accidentally). Extreme cards are available in three formats: CompactFlash, Memory Stick Pro and Secure Digital. Suggested retail prices range from $128 for a 256MB CF card to $799 for a 2GB CF card or $149 for 256MB SD and MS Pro cards and $699 for 1GB.
